Laminated veneer lumber (LVL) is an engineered wood product that uses multiple layers of thin wood assembled with adhesives and workmanship.
The boards, when load-tested, comply with OSHA standards. The boards are 38 mm thick, 225 mm wide, and available primarily in two lengths, 3980 mm and 3000 mm (cut sizes are also available).
The boards are of Chinese origin.
